This is one of the most impressive places in the Chihuahuan desert. It has stone formations called "piedras encimadas" (stacked stones), which seem to have been arranged on purpose. 

These extraordinary formations are the result of the passage of time and erosion coupled with the movement of tectonic layers. Every year Ojinaga moves a few millimeters away from the Rio Grande.

While you’re walking through this landscape you will challenge your imagination discovering a great variety of shapes in this rock formations. Due to its coloration during sunrises and sunsets, the landscape is truly magical.
