LINARES

Cabañas Laguna Azul (Blue Lagoon Cabins)

The cabins are located on the shore of Laguna Labradores, approximately an hour and a half from Linares. In the lagoon you can practice kayaking and enjoy contact with nature in the middle of a wooded landscape. The place offers different types of kayaks for its visitors.

Pozo de Gavilán (Sparrowhawk Well)

For the more adventurous there is the Pozo de Gavilán in the Galeana area, an hour and a half from Linares. To explore the well you must rappel down 82 m (269 ft) to reach a deep depression with an incredible blue lagoon. The body of water is a cenote (sinkhole) that runs through the bowels of the earth and has a depth of more than 30 m (98 ft) and a diameter of 60 m (197 ft).

Presa La Boca (Dam)

It is located in Santiago about 50 minutes south of Monterrey. The calm waters of this dam are perfect for kayaking. You can rent a double and individual kayaks with everything you need, including life jackets. There are profesional guides.
