Huatulco Bays

One of the most popular outdoor activities in Huatulco is to go kayaking and you have some quiet bays to choose from. The different tours vary according to weather conditions and most of them include the snorkeling experience.

Some of the best places for kayaking are: San Agustín Bay and Santa Cruz Bay, especially on the beaches of La Entrega and Santa Cruz.

You can also get a front-row seat to nature with a guided kayak tour where you watch the sunset with its' vibrant hues in the sky and on clouds and then enjoy the rising moon, a unique kayaking experience you can enjoy only once a month, which makes it extra special.

Copalita River

You can paddle along the bank of the river Copalita and take the "Las Hamacas" or "La Ceiba" bridge as your starting point to get to the mouth of the river in Playa La Bocana.

Zimatan

If you are more adventurous you can paddle in one of the wildest rivers in Oaxaca. This adventure can be combined with a canyoning tour where you will have to rappel, jump and walk in some sections.

Bajos de Coyula

The Coyula River also offers beautiful landscapes that can be enjoyed by kayakers.
