The Minas Viejas waterfalls are part of a group of waterfalls in the area, which also includes El Salto and El Meco waterfalls.

It is a place of unique beauty characterized by its two waterfalls, ranging from 45 to 50 meters, sliding down a yellowish wall covered in moss and vegetation, creating a series of turquoise green pools upon falling.

There is a second pool separated from the first by a low and irregular natural limestone wall covered in lichens, where the water is calm and resembles a mirror reflecting the white curtains.

Here, you can swim and even approach the waterfall to receive a pleasant massage from the powerful stream. It is important to mention that due to its depth, the use of life jackets is recommended.

The waterfall is surrounded by sugarcane fields and offers basic services. This is a good place for camping and hiking.
