CUETZALAN

In the surroundings of this Magical Town there are beautiful landscapes that offer all kinds of adventures. You can explore the Cañón de los Dioses (Canyon of the Gods) with professional guides. On the tour you will do a 7 m (23 ft) rappel, swim in a river, descend a waterfall, hiking and explore an underground river.

Río Cuichat

It is located just half an hour walking from the Magical Town of Cuetzalan. The tour takes approximately six hours and begins at the El Salto waterfall. It includes 6 rappel descents ranging from 8 to 50 m (26 to 164 ft) in the different waterfalls located along the river, as well as several jumps, slides and a hiking.

Río Petlapa

The total route along the riverbed is 31 km and in some parts it is very steep and in others it is a little more accessible. The route offers waterfalls, shots, jumps, rappelling, swimming and hiking. It is located almost four hours from Tehuacán.

The canyon is located behind the La Soledad Dam, 45 minutes from Tlatlauquitepec. It is a natural formation surrounded by lush vegetation. The tour involves crossing various waterfalls, giant stones, natural slides and fun water jumps.
