You can also enjoy the riverbanks of the Usumacinta, which can be explored by boat or in traditional canoes called "cayucos."

The "Boca de Cerro" Tourist Station has restaurants, palapas, and offers tours in the impressive Usumacinta Canyon.

Other natural attractions include the Yaax Ha and Aktun Ha Cenotes, which are the only cenotes found in Tabasco. They have a depth of 25 meters, their waters are greenish, and they are surrounded by lush vegetation. Rafting can be practiced in the rapids of the San José and Desempeño rivers. You can also visit the Golondrinas caves or the El Tortuguero and El Chorrito swimming areas.

Not far away is the El Ceibo border crossing where you can make purchases of foreign products at low prices.
