VILLAHERMOSA
More than 1000 waterfalls can be admired in the area of the Tabascan mountains, so there are many options to explore and enjoy the landscape of the state. One of the most attractive spots is Las Flores with its waterfall of more than 100 meters (328 ft) hight.
Malpasito
In the Malpasito area, you can visit La Pava, an impressive mountain with a strange rock formation at the top that resembles a turkey, and La Copa, a hill with a rocky structure that looks like a cup.
You can also visit the archaeological zone with important vestiges of the Mayan-Zoque culture. In the highest part of the archaeological site you will find a path that leads to "Del Sitio" waterfall, a 35-meter (115 ft) waterfall where you can practice rappelling.
In La Pava there are several areas where you can camp, especially on the slopes of the hill where there is a beautiful waterfall of the same name with a fall of 50 m (164 ft).
Jalapa
Here you will find a unique place known as "Túnel de los Tintales", where a large number of red trees have joined their branches forming an arch. It has a length of 800 m (2,625 ft) and it is a very special place for hiking. Located in the north of the municipality of Macuspana.
Yu-Balkah Reserve
It has eight km of trails that make your journeys between the low and high jungle a true adventure, there are trained guides. You can also enjoy rappelling and a zip line. Located just 60 km from Villahermosa.

Kolem Jaá
It is an incredible place to explore, offering trails where mushrooms and colorful orchids grow. Additionally, it has hanging bridges, zip lines, an impressive 20 m (65 ft) waterfall and beautiful natural pools. It was located 5 km from the town of Tapijulapa.
Hacienda la Luz
It offers tours between cocoa plantations and the facilities to produce chocolates, of course the tour ends with a tasting of delicious chocolates. Located in Comalcalco, less than an hour from Villahermosa.
Agua Selva
It has hills, waterfalls, streams and archaeological remains, so all the tours combine natural beauties with cultural attractions.
Agua Blanca State Park
The main attraction of this park is a large cave that can be reached by a cobbled path of approximately 500 m (1,640 ft).
Reforma Waterfalls Ecological Reserve
On the way to reach one of the most striking natural attractions in Tabasco, you will be able to enjoy the jungle landscapes and when you reach the waterfall you will cool off in its pool. It is located 49 km northeast of Balancán..
Villa Luz Natural Park
It has trails that run through the lush jungle that can be followed until you reach a suspension bridge that leads to an impressive waterfall. A place to enjoy the natural wonders of Tabasco.
