Viveplants
If you want to relax you can walk in the middle of thousands of orchids. This orchidarium has more than 100 species of orchids.
On the tour you will learn more about the cultivation and conservation of this elegant flower.
Cerro de la Cruz
It is located just behind the historic center of Manzanillo and is characterized by having a huge white cross on top.
To explore it there are some trails, in the first part you will find paved roads, but to get to the top, you will have to walk between steep paths surrounded by the natural vegetation of the place. Reaching the highest point requires effort and good physical condition, but the reward is a privileged 360º view, where you can appreciate the Colima Volcano, the Cuyutlán Lagoon, the San Pedrito Port and of course the historic center of the city.
If you have reached the top and want to continue exploring, there is a path that connects you to El Vigía Viewpoint from where you will have another exceptional panoramic view.
El Vigía Viewpoint
It is a pleasant walk without a high degree of difficulty and to ascend to the viewpoint it will take you approximately half an hour.
During the journey from the center of the port, you will have to take some alleys and climb some stairs until you reach the viewpoint from where you can enjoy magnificent views of the ocean.
From here you can take a path that connects you to Cerro de la Cruz, which does involve a much more considerable effort to reach the top, but it is really worth it.

Cerro del Toro (Bull Hill)
It is located very close to the center of Manzanillo and is a natural park where you can explore its winding trails that run between exuberant vegetation and beautiful streams with crystalline waters.
When you reach the top you will have a spectacular panoramic view of the two bays. An excellent option for those who like to be in contact with nature, since it is home to a wide variety of birds, iguanas and snakes.
Palo Verde Estuary
You can walk the trails that surround the estuary that is part of the Cuyutlán Lagoon, learning more about the local flora and fauna, starting with almost 200 birds species.
In addition, you can visit the hatchery, dedicated to the preservation and care of olive ridley, leatherback and black turtles.
If you want to explore various plantations and learn all about tropical fruits, you can travel from Manzanillo to Melaque and Barra de Navidad, walking among plantations and surrounded by fabulous colors and scents. Don’t miss it!"
