Amacuzac River

It is located just 40 minutes from Cuernavaca and the river runs for more than 12 km and offers more than 20 rapids. This exciting sport can be practiced in the Amacuzac River, during the rainy season (June-November).

The Upper section of the Amacuzac River is class II and 18 kilometers long. The Lower section of the Amacuzac River is class III-IV with a length of 15 km.

This tour not only offers you great emotions but also the chance to enjoy nature and observe the local fauna such as raccoons, eagles, herons, otters, hawks and even pumas.

The tour takes you from 3 to 4 hours, depending on the speed of the river.
