You can fish in all the lagoons of the state like the Rosario Lagoon and the Nueva Esperanza Lagoon, where you can catch ferro, mojarra, catfish, booby, carp, campamúchil, barbudo, trout and cococha.

Tabasco also has a beautiful coastline and in several towns and coastal beaches there are facilities for fishing. Among the best places are: San Pedro, Frontera, Chiltepec, Tupilco, Playa Sánchez Magallanes and Playa Paraíso, where you can easily find dogfish, snook, horse mackerel, red snapper, permit, tarpon, croaker, shrimp and the famous pejelagartos.
