Mazatlán is a paradise for fishing enthusiasts, you can enjoy fishing throughout the year.

There are 9 fleets with about 75 boats available with all the fishing gear you need. There is a pier next to the lighthouse where you can rent the boats.  

You can book a panga or a luxury yacht, but no matter which option you choose, you will always be accompanied by experienced crews and all the services you need to enjoy this experience.

Near Mazatlán are the El Comedero and El Salto dams, ideal places to practice bass fishing.

Fishing seasons in Mazatlan

Swordfish fishing in Mazatlán varies moderately throughout the year. High season is January to May. Low season is June to December.

It is possible to find striped marlin from January to April, black marlin, from May to August, blue marlin from May to October and sailfish from March to December, while dorado and yellowfin tuna can be catch all year long.

The species that can be caught during the winter season are sea bass and blue shark.

You can catch dorado, yellowfin tuna, wahoo, snapper and roosterfish, all year long.
