La Carbonera
This is a small natural paradise that includes petenes, mangroves and the Yucatecan savannah. This tour begins in Chuburná and from there you take a boat to get to La Carbonera where you can get on your board to paddle to a beautiful petén.
From there you navigate to the freshwater eye known as Dzul-Ha, where you can swim and enjoy the natural landscape that includes pelicans, herons and the incomparable flamingos. From there you take a boat again to reach a quiet virgin beach. This is a tour that takes approximately five hours. Located an hour and a half from Merida.
PROGRESO
Here you can paddle in a lagoon surrounded by dense mangroves where you can enjoy an incomparable landscape for approximately two hours. The shallow and calm waters allow you to practice this sport more easily and safely.
