In the Baja area you can identify more than 195 different species of birds.

Among the most representative are: quail, mountain dove, sparrows, goldfinches, mockingbird, white-winged dove, cardinal, sucker, woodpecker, dove, swallow, crow, mountain lark and palm swallow, as well as various seabirds such as: seagulls , gray pelican, earwig, tildillo, curlew and albatross.

Towers for bird watching have been placed at strategic points within the wetland of the San José del Cabo Estuary Ecological Reserve, which is classified as an Important Bird Area, here you can observe more than 150 different species of birds.
