In Playa Hermosa there is a small but very professional Turtle Farm where you can learn more about the sea turtle, as well as see how they nest and spawn.

Inside the camp you can experience the fabulous experience the thrill of releasing wild baby sea turtles into the ocean.

There are hotels that are part of this program and involve various volunteers and tourists to help with the mission of protecting both the eggs and the little turtles.

Pie de la Cuesta is another good option to experience closeness with turtle and learn about the threats faced by baby turtles.

From June to December you can admire the arrival of the turtles, mainly at night, in Pie de la Cuesta and Revolcadero.
