It is a beautiful valley surrounded by a landscape of forests composed mainly of pines, oaks and oyameles, dotted with capricious rock formations known as: "La Botella" (The Bottle), "El Fistol", "La Muela" (The Tooth) and " Las Ventanas” (The Windows), among many others. 

It is the highest part of El Chico National Park, so temperatures tend to be low, especially in the morning and at night.

The place has cabins, camping areas and facilities for rock climbing, mountaineering and hiking. Likewise, there is a hostel that can be used for events, conventions, courses and workshops.

It must be taken into account that, due to its altitude, temperatures tend to drop in the mornings and at night.
