Located near Concá, Las Adjuntas is a unique space where two important mountain rivers meet: the Ayutla River and the Santa María River. The union of the rivers creates a marvelous landscape as they have different colors and temperatures, allowing you to see and feel where the two streams merge.
The difference in temperatures is what keeps the water separated. The colder river has crystal-clear blue waters, while the one with a higher temperature has an earthy color.
You can drive to the banks of the Ayutla River, where you will find some places offering regional specialties.
During the rainy season, when the river levels rise, it is not recommended to swim due to strong currents.
