The lagoon is a beautiful place, named after its peculiar shape. The body of the lagoon is approximately 300 m long and 60 m at its widest point.
The lagoon has 6 water springs of various shades ranging from deep blue to turquoise.
The great transparency and serenity of its waters make it an ideal place for scuba diving. The location offers a beautiful landscape where rushes, palms, and casuarina trees intermingle, giving it a unique appearance. It also has an excellent temperature ranging from 27º to 30ºC.
In the canals, which emerge like numerous tentacles around the lagoon, it's possible to admire various specimens of colorful fish, ducks, and underwater flora.
The communal authorities provide surveillance and restroom services to provide greater security and comfort to visitors.
If you visit the lagoon during winter when temperatures drop, you can see the vapor of warm water rising above the surface, giving it a mystical character.
