DURANGO

Puentecillas Ecotourism Center

The center, located just over an hour from the city of Durango, offers a lake in the middle of an incredible forest ideal for kayaking.

If you paddle in the early hours of the morning, you can enjoy a unique landscape, since the lagoon becomes a mirror of water with a kind of fog floating in the surface because of the temperatures differences.

Here you can also practice sport fishing and take a ride in a pedal boat.

Presa Peña del Aguila (Dam)

Another option for kayaking is Peña del Águila Dam, located 25 km from the city of Durango. It is also a very nice place to fish and have a picnic.

Otinapa Ecotourism Center

Only 53 km from the city of Durango, is the Otinapa Sierra Ecotourism Center with a lagoon, a beautiful place to explore, especially, on a kayak.
