Located south of Xilitla, these caves offer a series of interesting formations and also preserve part of the Huastec history, as they house fascinating rock paintings.

Due to their depth, it is not possible to descend to the base without proper equipment. Close to this cave, there is another smaller pit known as "Sótano de las Guaguas" (Cave of the Birds), with a depth of 478 meters and a 70-meter diameter at the entrance. It is also inhabited by swifts and parakeets.

Outside the caves, you can engage in rappelling.
