Grutas de Cacahuamilpa

If you like climbing you can enjoy one of the most unique and magical landscapes in the entire country, the Cacahuamilpa Caves, which has routes with different levels of difficulty.

The caves are located just half an hour from Taxco and the climbing routes are a 40-minute walk away.

Chontacoatlan

It is considered by experts as a world-class rock climbing area with several lengths of overhang full of tufas, stalactites and frills.

Located 30 km from Taxco and is an underground river that crosses mountains and flows into the Cacahuamilpa Caves.

The landscape includes a vegetation of thorn bushes and amate trees, as well as a cackling rock ideal for climbing.

In Hoyanco there are currently 30 routes equipped for sport climbing, some of the most important are: the area called "Amate Amarillo", the "Chanchullo" and the " Mala Fama" (Bad Fame), a 190-meter route divided into seven extra-pitch lengths and relief with stalactites.

It is considered one of the best sport climbing sectors in the world of its kind.

Dos Bocas

Located less than 20 km from Chontacoatlan and is a sector under the famous Cacahuamilpa Caves.

Its type of climbing is very similar to that of Chontacoatlan.
