It is a a rolling course and the second oldest club in Mexico, as it was founded in 1915. Originally, it had only 9 holes, and it wasn't until 2008 that an additional 9 holes were built on two islets within the Chairel Lagoon.
The most challenging holes are Hole 4, a par-4 of 141 yards, and Hole 6, a par-4 of 427 yards.
