El Chorro del Caliche o de Agua Verde
It is an 80 meter (262 feet) waterfall that ends in four turquoise blue natural pools flanked by pillars of red earth that were formed over millions of years.
This beautiful waterfall is located near the town of San José de Ánimas.
El Tecuan Park
It is a National Protected Area that offers a forested landscape of pines, firs, cedars and impressive white oaks, ideal for camping and enjoying nature.
El Salto del Agua Llovida
The surroundings of the waterfall El Salto del Agua Llovida is a pleasant area with paths and trails that start from Molinillos and that reach the waterfall. Well-equipped shelters are offered here.
It is perhaps one of the most beautiful waterfalls in all of Durango, which is why it offers a pleasant landscape to enjoy nature. One of the interesting characteristics of this waterfall is that the current falls in the opposite direction to the wind, which causes a kind of breeze that will pleasantly wet you.
The best time to camp in this area is from August to November, when the waterfall has a higher flow.
It is a place where you can easily see deer and green macaws.

It is a beautiful natural area with several waterfalls, including one 20-meter (65 feet) high, as well as peculiar rock formations that are quite an attraction.
