It is one of the most representative buildings in Plaza Hidalgo.

The basilica was built on a church consecrated to the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception.

Its facade is flat and stands out with its wide ashlar walls. It has a single tower with three levels that houses a four-faced clock.

Inside, there is a beautiful marble altar and a series of easel paintings and various sculptures.
