This town nestled in the Usumacinta region is located about three hours from Villahermosa.
Among its attractions is the Church of the Lord of Tila, known on social media for its striking facade colors, including yellow, orange, red, blue, purple, and pink, among others.
Additionally, you can visit the "José Gómez Panaco" Archaeological Museum, housed in a late 19th-century building, which displays a collection of archaeological pieces from the Mayan culture.
In the surrounding areas, there are several natural attractions such as the impressive Reforma Waterfalls, the El Popalillo, Leona Vicario, and Misicab lagoons, various swimming areas, the "Ribera de Acalán" viewpoint, as well as important archaeological sites like Moral Reforma and Santa Elena.
If you are a nature lover, you cannot miss the Moral-Reforma Ecological Reserve, a place for hiking or taking boat or kayak rides.
