It is a beautiful spot that is part of the Sierra de Álvarez. The abundance of calcareous rock formations has given the landscape a particular and contrasting beauty. 

Throughout its rugged topography, you can observe white rocks of marine origin protruding through dense vegetation. This is the origin of its name, as in the twilight and moonlit nights, they acquire their peculiar ghostly appearance. 

There are hotels and cabins in the surrounding area.
