- It has an international airport and an international aerodrome. The airport in San José del Cabo receives commercial and private flights from major cities in Mexico, the United States, and Canada, served by 5 national and 12 international airlines. The international aerodrome in Cabo San Lucas receives private and some commercial flights on a smaller scale. Together, they make Los Cabos the fourth most important destination in terms of passenger reception. On average, it receives 10,185 flights per month, including 3,457 domestic and 6,728 international flights, from cities such as Dallas, Denver, Chicago, Atlanta, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, San Jose, Vancouver, Los Angeles, Houston, Minneapolis, San Diego, Seattle, Newark, Calgary, Toronto, Mexico City, Culiacán, Guadalajara, Puerto Vallarta, Los Mochis, Monterrey, Tijuana, and Hermosillo.
