The transparent and calm waters of many of the Riviera Maya beaches are ideal for snorkeling.

Among the best options are: Akumal, Playa del Carmen and of course Xel-Há, the largest natural aquarium.

You can also snorkel in some of the cenotes that are found throughout the destination.
