It is actually a cavity in the earth with 160 meters in diameter and 140 meters deep. On its walls you can admire cave paintings and thousands of parrots.
Also called Sima del Copal, due to the abundance of trees of this species. Inside the chasm there is a small forest and most of the trees at the bottom are up to 30 meters long, the habitat of thousand of parrots.
In this place, you are going to be able to descend more than 100 meters deep by rappelling, enjoy a zip-line or walk along thin natural rock corridors.
The best season to observe the birds is from March to November, when they leave at dawn and return at sunset.

Located 19 km from the municipal seat of Ocozocuautla and 57.3 km, approximately an hour and a half from Tuxtla Gutiérrez.
