Piedra de Juluapan

COMALA
Montaña de Cerro Grande
Cerro Grande Mountain, located in the Sierra de Manantlán Biosphere Reserve, have several interpretative trails.
In this area you can also explore a network of underground caves that are part of the water supply of Colima and Villa de Álvarez.
Laguna Maria Park
This lagoon was previously a volcanic caldera and in its surroundings there are ideal hiking hiking trails.
In its tours it is possible to admire coffee plantations, caves dug hundreds of years ago by the ancient settlers, as well as deer and a wide variety of birds.
It has facilities for camping, with cabins and grills on the lagoon shore.
Montitlan Park
Located in the foothills of the Colima volcano, just 10 minutes from the state capital.
It has a microclimate with a cool atmosphere and beautiful landscapes. It is located 40 minutes from Comala.
