The reserve has 10,000 hectares with several lagoons and more than 3 kilometers of beach facing the Pacific Ocean. It is an excellent place to get to know a coastal ecosystem.
The reserve is home to 72 species of mammals, 270 species of birds, 20 amphibians and 46 reptiles. Its characteristic vegetation includes 4 species of mangroves and more than 1,200 different plants.
Throughout the reserve you can discover lagoons, jungles and beaches and if you visit it from June to December you will see a bright green carpet that contrasts with the blue of the sea.
There are some lodging options such as cabins in the middle of the jungle or bungalows.
