For all those who like the strongest emotions, the famous Tetakawi hill is an excellent option.

With its almost 400 m (1,312 ft) high, it can be climbed or you can access the top through its paths. The best season is from October to April, which is when it is less hot.

Another option is offered by the Nacapule Canyon, a unique place due to its landscape and its great biodiversity. It is located 20 minutes from San Carlos.
