This romantic square is lined with leafy trees and narrow cobblestone streets.

It is one of the busiest squares in San Ángel.

It has a plaque that commemorates the San Patricio Battalion, which was made up of Irish soldiers who came to Mexico in 1847 with the invading army of the United States.

It is particularly attractive on Saturdays when various artists use it as an open-air gallery.

It is surrounded by colonial buildings that have been given different uses, such as the Casa del Risco and an old mansion that was transformed into a unique shopping center specializing in fine quality crafts, known as Bazar del Sábado.

Location

San Jacinto s/n. Col San Ángel, CDMX.
