If you like fishing, Cozumel offers you all kind of fishing experiences. In the waters surrounding the island are more than 200 species of fish.

Cozumel is known as one of the best places for fishing in its different modalities.

The most common fish in the area are: sailfish, blue marlin, tuna, and swordfish. The best season is from April to June, although the rest of the year you can also find barracudas, bonito, dorado and mojarra.

In the northern lagoons of the island you can practice fly fishing and fishing in estuaries for species such as snook, permit, tarpon and snapper.
