This ecological park is famous for its beautiful mountains. Its rock formations are perfect for rappelling and rock climbing.
The Huasteca Canyon, like Chipinque, is part of the Cumbres de Monterrey National Park, covering an area of 200 hectares. On its walls, you can observe prehistoric glyphs carved thousands of years ago by the ancient inhabitants of the region.
Within the park, there are several interesting places such as the Virgin's Cave, the Nido de los Aguiluchos (Nest of the Eaglets), and the Guitarritas Canyon.
One of the most extreme adventures in Huasteca is the vía ferrata, which allows you to climb the highest rocky peaks of this stunning park, such as Pico Independencia and Pico 15, which reach heights of up to 700 meters. This route includes another ridge over 300 meters high, as well as suspension bridges and impressive zip lines spanning over 200 meters.
