The Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve has more than 350 species of birds, Isla Contoy, located two hours by boat from Isla Mujeres, is home to more than 150 species, while Isla Pájaros very close to Holbox , has more than 100 species among which we can mention the double-crested cormorant, red gazelle, roseate spoonbill, white ibis, frigate bird, white and gray pelicans, herons and pink flamingos, to name a few.
