It is the largest bullring in the world, with a capacity for 43,000 spectators.

Monuments to famous bullfighters that have made history are placed around its periphery. These sculptures were created by Alfredo Just and Humberto Peraza.

The bullring was inaugurated on February 5, 1946, with a lineup featuring Manuel Rodríguez "Manolete," Luis Castro "El Soldado," and Luis Procuna. Since then, it opens its doors to two seasons: the novillero season, from May to September, and the matador season, from October to February, meaning almost every Sunday of the year.

Location

Augusto Rodín No. 130, Cd. de los Deportes, Benito Juárez, CDMX.
