Central Mexico
It is an authentic paradise and there is an ecotourism center.
Within the landscape there are three beautiful waterfalls where you can swim in their natural pools.
The three are very different from each other and all are located on the bed of the San Vicente River. The first is 13 m high, the second is 45 m and the third is the largest at 60 m. All surrounded by a beautiful wooded landscape.
Various ecotourism activities are offered here, including rappelling down the 45m waterfall.
You can also visit the town of Tzimol a quiet and peaceful town surrounded by beautiful sprawling sugar cane fields. Local industries include ‘panela‘ (unrefined cane sugar blocks), ‘petate‘ (weaved mats made from palm leaves) and ‘posh’, a strong alcoholic drink made of sugar cane. If you want to know more about the community you can stay with a family from the town.
