It is believed that it was a volcanic cone with an extension of 1.5 km in length and with depths that vary from 1 to 5 m.

The beautiful lagoon is surrounded by a series of mountains with a beautiful coniferous forest. It is an ideal place to enjoy fishing, kayaking and hiking.

On the shores of the lagoon there is a resort from where you can enjoy the landscapes and the flora and fauna of the region. You can walk along the paths that lead to the top of the mountains to have a panoramic view of the place.
