Isla Blanca, located 25 minutes north of Cancun, is one of the best places to practice this sport, not only in Cancun, but in the world.

This place is a true paradise with white sand beaches and pristine jungles.

Constant winds ensure a great kitesurf, whereas the shallow, flat water of the lagoon provides safe surfing opportunities, is the perfect place to learn how to kitesurf.

The prevailing winds are from the N, NE, E, SE with a wind force between 12 and 25 knots from April to June. The best season is from November to April and it is called the “Season of the Norths” because the winds coming from the north are strong (10 to 35 knots). The weather can get cold so it is recommended a neoprene suit of 4/3mm or 5/3 mm.

Isla Blanca has very good certified instructors and if you don't have experience, there is no better place in the Caribbean to start practicing this exciting sport.
