La Paz Bay
Leaving from the La Paz boardwalk, you can spend half a day or a whole day along the beach, paddling between Pichilingue and Tecolote, or you can paddle to Balandra Bay with its turquoise blue waters.
In the tours along the La Paz Bay you can explore the magnificent mangroves in the area to learn about the flora and fauna of the region, specifically more than 120 species of birds that inhabit these mangroves, as well as El Mogote, a sandy peninsula where it is not difficult to see dolphins.
Isla Espíritu Santo (Holy Spirit Island)
Another favorite alternative is to spend the day exploring the uninhabited Isla Espiritu Santo and kayak below 300 meter (984 feet) high cliffs inside fascinating marine cavities. In addition to exploring the spectacular virgin beaches or small islets, such as El Gallo (The Rooster) and La Gallina (The Hen), where sea lions live and visiting the small freshwater receptacle that is located inside the island.
Isla del Tesoro (Treasure Island)
You can choose to paddle from the Pichilingue corridor to Isla del Tesoro, which has this name because it was the place where the old Dutch pirates, known as "pichilingües", circulated. Throughout the tour you can enjoy desert landscapes and some mangroves.
