Located in the center of the Coyoacán neighborhood.

It is surrounded by numerous cafes, bookstores, bistros, ice cream parlors, and the Benemérito de las Américas Cultural Center. It was inaugurated to commemorate the 100 years of independence during the Porfirio Díaz government.

It is characterized by the famous coyote fountain made by sculptor Gabriel Ponzarelli, and on weekends, an attractive bazaar is set up here.

The garden preserves the old access to the atrium of the San Juan Bautista Parish, known as the "Arcos del Jardín Centenario," a beautiful viceregal stone monument carved by indigenous hands dating back to the 16th century.

It is the ideal place to feel the tranquil and nostalgic atmosphere of Coyoacán, and here you can enjoy a delicious coffee, a tasty ice cream, or some delicious esquites (Mexican street corn).

From here, you can take the charming Coyoacán Tram that will take you to explore the streets and attractions surrounding the plaza. The stop is on Felipe Carrillo Puerto Street, between Jardín Hidalgo and Jardín Centenario.
