It is considered one of the most majestic caves, full of history and legends. Its galleries are enormous and have only been partially explored, with various branches.
Pre-Hispanic offerings have been found in strategic points since indigenous people held great respect and veneration for these "mouths of the earth".
It is one of the most accessible and safe caves for all visitors, although you have to walk for an hour on a rugged trail. It has a length of 1,200 meters and consists of three chambers.
The first one stands out for its natural viewpoint that allows you to observe an incredible mountain landscape. The second one has a formation shaped like an elephant; here, rainwater seeps through cracks, forming stalactites and stalagmites. The third chamber is known as "Los Candiles" (The Candlesticks) due to the rock formations; to enter this chamber, it is necessary to rappel approximately 6 meters, but it's worth it because you have the opportunity to see marine fossils. Some of the most attractive formations include the profile of Christ, Buddha, and a praying child.
The total cave tour takes about four hours, and rappelling is required to enter.
