It is a protected area surrounded by a desert landscape known as Mayrán, inside what was an old hacienda that is the source of a legend that tells that in the El Chiflón Canyon there is a very deep pool where a cart loaded with gold was submerged by Pancho Villa when he was being chased by the federals.

It has 8 ha and is ideal for adventure activities, and also has a park.

This semi-desert system has an abundant fauna including: badgers, squirrels, swallows, pigeons, lizards, snakes, toads, frogs, bats, hawks, buzzards, scorpions, tarantulas, beetles, spiders, ants, butterflies, bees, leeches etc
