BAHÍA DE KINO

Isla del Tiburón (Shark Island ) is one of the most spectacular places in Sonora.

The island is an ecological reserve and you can need a permit to visit it. You will have to talk with the authorities in Punta Chueca, a community near Bahía de Kino.

It is the largest island in the country and is home to animals such as the bighorn and mule deer. On its coasts you can practice snorkeling and fishing.
