Tamaulipas has a large number of rivers, water parks and beaches that provide the opportunity to have so much fun in its crystal clear waters.

CIUDAD VICTORIA

The south of the state has several water parks with thermal waters such as those in Aldama, the Zacatón pool with approximately 339 m (1,112 ft) depth, Poza Verde, Pilita and Ojo Caliente, located 15 km from Ciudad Victoria.

TAMPICO

Miramar Beach

Here the fine sand and its calm waters allow you to practice a great variety of water sports like surfing, windsurfing, kayaking and diving. Located in Ciudad Madero, 25 minutes from Tampico.

Barra del Tordo Beach

Here the sea and the river come together as they meet at the mouth of the Carrizales River. It is a privileged setting for boat rides, kayaking and snorkeling. Located 35 km from the municipality of Aldama, an hour and 45 minutes from Tampico.

Laguna del Carpintero (Lagoon)

You can take a boat ride and admire turtles, iguanas, birds and crocodiles in the surroundings. Likewise, in the Chairel Lagoon you can enjoy a boat ride, practice water sports, rowing, canoeing, water skiing and jetskiing. Located in Tampico.  

Champayán Lagoon
