There are several places where you can swim such as the Río Hondo, El Palmar and the Bacalar Lagoon.

At the Santuario de los Estromatolitos, also known as Cenote Cocalitos, you can relax and enjoy the swings above the water with one of the best views of Bacalar.

You can also rent waverunners and jetskis in the lagoon.

Water Sports in Mahahual

The coast that goes from Mahahual to Xcalak has wonderful reefs and calm waters ideal for a peaceful swim.

You can rent a wave runner or if you like something more extreme you can try flyboarding for 30 minutes. Try it ! You only need a few minutes with the instructor and you will have the thrill of flying over the turquoise Caribbean Sea.
