BEST MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAILS IN SAN CARLOS :
La pista de El Soldado (The Soldier Trail)
It consists of 7.6 km of paths designed by hills, ravines and valleys. It is located 15 minutes from San Carlos.
Cañón del Alacrán (Scorpion Canyon)
This trip can be combined with hiking, since the trails from Nacupuli to Cañón del Alacrán (Scorpion Canyon) are covered by bicycle and the last section to enter the canyon is traveled on foot to be able to contemplate the pools of crystal clear water and the desert landscape. It is located half an hour from San Carlos.
La Pintada Canyon
In the canyon, there is another track that is easy to follow and offers the characteristic landscapes of the area and something very particular is a series of cave paintings that can be admired throughout the journey, since this was the place where the Seris lived. Located on the highway, an hour and a quarter from Guaymas.
Visita al Potrero
It has an access of 11 km of dirt road and offers 8 km of trails between desert landscapes in the mountains. It also includes some oases. It is located almost three hours from Guaymas.
Mountain Biking in San Carlos
Los Anegados
This is a lesser-known path, so it is very easy for you to find local fauna. It is located 40 minutes from San Carlos.
San José de Guaymas
This route leads to this old mission and during the tour you can enjoy pleasant landscapes. It is located 20 minutes from Guaymas and half an hour from San Carlos.
Cerro del Vigía
This is a very pleasant route but it requires good physical condition and some experience.
The Guaymas Lighthouse
This is one of the most recommended rides and consists of 10 km of pleasant landscapes where the desert contrasts with the Sea of Cortes.
