Cuzamá is becoming increasingly popular for its cenotes and cave diving. The tour through the different cenotes is done on a "truck," a small platform pulled by a horse on rails, covering 7 km of nature-filled paths, adding an incredible sense of adventure.
There are three cooperatives that take you to completely different cenotes and adventures: Cuzamá, X'Tohil, and Chunkanán. Each of them will take you to explore the jungle and discover the cenotes in small horse-drawn carriages that can accommodate up to four passengers and are known as "trucks." So get ready to enjoy your adventure from the beginning.
Cuzamá, X’Tohil and Chunkanán.
Cada una de ellas te llevará a explorar la selva y descubrir los cenotes en pequeños vagones tirados por caballos que transportan hasta cuatro pasajeros y son conocidos como “trucks”, así que prepárate a disfrutar de tu aventura desde el principio.
Each of the cenotes has its own attractions and offers its own adventures, so we invite you to get to know and enjoy each one of them.
Cenote Chelentún
It's the first cenote on the tour, easily accessible with wooden stairs descending about 20 meters amidst plants and trees. Its waters are intensely blue, and the cenote has a tunnel-like vault. It has a visibility of 50 meters and a temperature of 26ºC.
It has two caverns, the first one located on the right side where you can descend to a depth of 30 meters, and the second one at the bottom with over 100 meters of penetration and a maximum depth of 40 meters.

Cenote Chac-Zinic-Ché
It's the second cenote, and it's a jug-type cenote that tends to become completely open to the sky as the enormous tree roots continue to grow, breaking the remaining vault. It has wooden stairs descending about 20 meters to the water level. Like the previous one, it has crystal-clear intensely blue waters.
It is considered one of the best cenotes in the area for diving due to its beautiful stalactite landscape. It has a depth of 40 meters and several interior caves reaching depths of up to 250 meters. Its visibility is 50 meters, and the temperature is 27ºC.
Cenote Bolon-Chojol
The last cenote is the most difficult to access, as it requires descending vertical wooden stairs of about 10 meters. Its vault only allows sunlight to enter through small holes, causing the colors of its 35-meter pool to vary from turquoise blue to emerald green.
It is classified as one of the most beautiful cenotes in Yucatán. It has a depth of 12 meters, a visibility of 50 meters, and a temperature of 27ºC.
CENOTES EN X’TOJIL:
Cenote X’tojil
This is the largest cenote on this tour with a depth of 25 meters. Its beauty lies in the fact that through its unique opening, light enters and reflects on the water. There's a small ledge from where you can dive in.
Cenote San Felipe
This cenote is a cave, and to reach it, you'll have to descend about 30 meters on a metal staircase and then walk on a stone path that leads to a bridge crossing over to the cenote. It has no natural light, so if you want to swim, the guide can illuminate the water for a unique experience.
Ayuso y Sak Pakal
These two cenotes are located just a few meters from each other. In Ayuso, you can descend using rustic stairs, so you need to be careful. This cenote has no natural light, so once again, if you want to swim, they will have to illuminate it with a flashlight.
In cenote Sak Pakal, you'll descend through a narrow wooden staircase for 15 meters until you reach a platform. From there, you can admire the cenote and dive into its refreshing waters. This small cenote is illuminated through mirrors that reflect natural light, giving it a unique and beautiful atmosphere.
CENOTES EN CHUNKANÁN:
Santa Cruz y Tzpacal
The first cenote is characterized by its large number of stalactites, and the second one is a canal that you can reach by descending wooden stairs. Both cenotes have lamps so you can enjoy their underground landscapes.
On this tour, you also visit Cenote Chelentún.
