The waterfall is located at the end of the Chipitín Canyon in Potrero Redondo, municipality of Santiago. The waterfall has a drop of about 90 meters and ends in a spectacular turquoise pool surrounded by the mountains of the Sierra Madre.
You can explore the canyon or simply visit the waterfall. For the latter option, you need to walk down a trail for approximately 45 minutes or you can also do it on horseback.
The most impressive part is that you can explore the cave and walk behind the waterfall.
The best months to visit are from March to September.
