CIUDAD VICTORIA
“El Cielo” Biosphere Reserve
It is one of the most spectacular places in Tamaulipas and within the reserve there are several spots ideal for camping such as:
Joya Oscura (Dark Jewel), place surrounded by huge trees.
Manantial Viveros, a beautiful space with a spring and pools of water.
Valle de los Helechos (Valley of the Ferns), an ideal place to live with nature, especially from March to October.
El Cielo is located just over an hour from Ciudad Victoria.
La Bocatoma
It is a natural water park with incomparable natural beauties such as a river and extensive green areas good for camping. There is a suspension bridge and in the surrounding area there are restaurants offering delicious prawns and fresh seafood. Located 13 km from Gómez Farías and 107 km from Ciudad Victoria.
Camping in Tamaulipas

Los Nogales
This is where two rivers meet and offers an incredible landscape surrounded by a large number of walnut trees. It has palapas, grills, toilets and special camping areas. Located in Jaumave, just over an hour from Ciudad Victoria.
Los Troncones
It is a beautiful natural park with grills, benches, children's games, restrooms, places with snacks and camping areas. The park also offers bike and hiking trails. Located half an hour from Ciudad Victoria.
TAMPICO
Beaches
Some of the most attractive beaches for camping are: Playa Miramar and Barra del Tordo.
TULA
Cañón del Salto
This wonderful canyon is located in an area surrounded by mountains and plains. It is a place for people with good physical condition and who like adventure, since it offers several challenges. It is located 40 minutes from the Magic Town of Tula.
